The course was expected to help cultural professionals further develop knowledge and skills in cultural heritage - both tangible and intangible, such as historical-cultural monuments, scenic spots, relics, antiquities and national treasures, documentary heritage.
Representatives of various cultural departments from 34 cities/provinces, museums, competent agencies involved in culture, Hanoi University of Culture, Ho Chi Minh city University of Culture had been attended.
This is an annual course of Department of Cultural Heritage aimed at helping cultural professionals foster opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, cultural exchange, and access to updated knowledge. In the course, many issues on the preservation and safeguarding of cultural heritage were pointed out and discussed to develop appropriate and adequate solutions in the present context. Participants also visited Da Nang Museum and the Marble Mountain as a field survey.
Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center had sent its staff participating in the course to strengthen professional knowledge and skills for better serving the preservation of the World Heritage Site of Hoi An Ancient Town.
