Located at the northeastern gateway, the park with the welcome gate is considered as a symbol of Hoi An city on the Central coastal development axis. It also demonstrates the connection between the past, the present and the future, with the sight to the sea. This park is not only a place for local communities but also a rest area for visitors to learn about the history and culture of the site of Dai An ancient village. This is the first of four welcome gates approved by the People's Committee of Hoi An city at the gateways to the heritage city. In the coming time, the Center will continue to conduct next projects of remaining three welcome gates, aiming to promote the image of Hoi An city to domestic and international tourists.
