Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and preservation
Some activities on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Hoi An Ancient Town being recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage
As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hoi An Ancient Town being recognized as a World Cultural Heritage (December 4, 1999 - December 4, 2024) organized by the People's Committee of Hoi An city, from November 21 to December 4, 2024, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation is assigned to host many activities during this time.
According to the approved plan, Hoi An Center will provide many exhibition spaces of: sculptures collection of Door Eyes by artist Bao Ly at Museum of Sa Huynh Culture on November 21; Hoi An Cultural Heritage through Luu Cong Nhan’s paintings at Hoi An Museum on November 23; photos themed "World Cultural Heritage, Hoi An Ancient Town - 25 years of preserving and promoting values" at Hoi An Park on December 4. Besides that, Hoi An Center also organize special programs such as the Opening Ceremony of Museum of Local Products at No.57 Tran Phu on December 3; the celebratory meeting named "Imprints on the journey of managing, preserving and promoting the value of the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town" on December 4 at Hoi An Park.
In addition to the above activities, Hoi An Center is compiling many publications for this special occasion including Book “Local Products of Hoi An, Quang Nam”, Book “Hoi An Cultural Heritage - 25 years of preserving and promoting values”; Heritage Homeowner’s Preservation Manual (reprint and supplement).
