Developing "Plan for preserving and promoting National Intangible Cultural Heritage - Tra Que vegetable cultivation"

Tra Que vegetable cultivation was registered by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage according to Decision No. 784/QD-BVHTTDL dated April 4, 2022.

      This is a profession with a long history, not only preserving a lot of knowledge, experience and many typical vegetable varieties but also making great contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality. On the basis of Project No. 965A/DA-UBND dated April 20, 2022 of Hoi An City People's Committee on "Building Cam Ha - the model new-style rural commune, dynamic and sustainable development to 2025 and orientations to 2030" and implementing Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU dated December 16, 2022 of Hoi An City Party Committee on the direction and tasks for 2023, including the content "Developing a plan to preserve and promote National Intangible Cultural Heritage - Tra Que vegetable cultivation", currently Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation is developing "Plan for preserving and promoting National Intangible Cultural Heritage - Tra Que vegetable cultivation".

      The plan will propose tasks and solutions to mobilize the resources of the government and local community of Tra Que villagers to preserve and promote heritage value in a sustainable way, contributing to economic and social development. The plan will be built on the basis of ensuring preservation regulations and connecting with relevant local schemes for effective implementation.
