Procedures related to the relic restoration
Stept 1
When repairing and restoring relics/houses, the owners buy the application form at Hoi An Public Administrative Center (at No. 02 Hoang Dieu). The application form has three colours classified by protected zone (The guidance for each protected zone behind the application form):
• Pink application form: use for the relics/houses at Zone I (Core Zone).

Stept 2
While filling out the necessary contents in the application form, pay attention to items 3, 4.
• Item 3: (Current state of relics/houses): Describe the current state of the relic/house, degraded location, repaired area.
• Item 4: (content): the content of the categories applying for permission to build, repair, restore.
Stept 3
The following documents will be submitted with the application form (the application must be certified by the People’s Committee of the local ward)
• Related documents of house ownership and residential land use rights with land plot map (3 copies for each type).
• Technical drawing of the house/relic requested for repair or restoration (1 original and 4 copies for repair or renovation at Zone II-B; 1 original and 5 copies for houses/relics Zone I, Zone II-A).
• 2 photos (9cm x 12cm) include 1 photo of the front of the house and 1 photo of the front of the house with surrounding space. If widened or raised, there must add photos of these parts.

Stept 4
Submit the application and related documents at Hoi An Public Administrative Center. Here you will receive an appointment for an official response time.
