Working with the Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison Relic in Hanoi capital

On November 1, 2024, the delegation of Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation led by Mr. Phan Van Quang - Deputy Director, had a working session with the Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison Relic in Hanoi capital.

The business trip aimed to exchange professional tasks, learn practical experiences in propaganda work. In which, "Night tours" at the Hoa Lo Prison relic is a typical case study of using historical relics to serve patriotic education for the young generation. Basing on results of working session, Hoi An Center plans to apply the Hoa Lo experiences into the case of Hoi An Prison relic.
With the support of the Management Board, the Center staff had the opportunity to enjoy the Sacred Night Tour Program themed "Live like flowers" held on Friday nights and "Youthful Fire" held on Saturday nights. These are very special and unique tourist products at Hoa Lo relic, attracting great attention from the public.
Currently, in Hoi An, the project of Hoi An Prison relic is also invested for many important items to become a tourist attraction combined with patriotic education for the young generation. Therefore, this business trip has helped the Center staff to approach an attractive tourist product in a site which has many similarities with Hoi An Prison relic. In addition, through the working sessions, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation and Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison Relic have agreed to establish a relationship of mutual support in professional work for the future.
