On October 7, 2022, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation had supported for Quang Nam Radio and Television Station (QRT) to make the documentary "V25 - Heroic Battalion 2".
Former commanders and soldiers of Battalion V25 visited Hoi An Prison
V25 was the unit that presided over the offensive operation on Quang Nam Correctional Center (Hoi An Prison) on July 14, 1967 which liberated more1000 patriotic political prisoners.
According to the script, former commanders and soldiers of Battalion V25 would visit Hoi An Prison and location of District's capital Hieu Nhon (now is the headquarters of the military agency of Hoi An city) to recall and give a talk about the great victory in 1967. The victory was typical of tactics named "flowers bloomed in the enemy's heart" and later was raised to a battle strategy to popularize in the armed forces of Quang Nam - Da Nang province. The documentary is hoped contributing to propagate the historical value of the revolutionary struggle and provide valuable information for dossiers of request for national-level relic ranking as well as other projects of exhibition and introduction of Hoi An Prison.
