Situation of visitors to museums and relics managed by Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation in the first quarter of 2022

Hoi An is one of the localities where many cultural and tourism events of the National Tourism Program 2022 take place in Quang Nam province. These activities have created a good impression attracting visitors to Hoi An after the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic in a long time.

Visitors not only discover the beauty of the architectural buildings in the ancient town, but also learn about the unique historical and cultural values of the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage through visiting museums and relics.In the first quarter of 2022, museums and monuments directly managed by Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation welcomed 9,230 visitors, including 766 international visitors and 8,464 Vietnamese visitors. Especially, the Hoi An Prison relic becomes one of the red places attracting 367 visitors.
In the coming time, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation will organize activities to connect the heritage with the community contributing to bringing museums and relics closer to the public and attracting visitors to Hoi An.
