Organizing Workshop on "Incense and local products of Hoi An, Quang Nam"

On April 29, 2022, People's Committee of Hoi An City issued Decision No. 482/QD-UBND approving the investment policy of Museum of Incense and Local Products of Hoi An, Quang Nam (No. 57 Tran Phu street) and assigned Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation to be as a project investor.
Currently, the Center has promoted the procedures for investment. In process of collecting information and documents for the museum displays, on October 28, the Center will organize Workshop on "Incense and local products of Hoi An, Quang Nam" at the hall of Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation (No. 10B Tran Hung Dao street).
In the workshop, the participants are going to discuss about topics related to local products and types of incenses of Quang Nam such as: sources of products; the role of Hoi An in connecting local products with the domestic and international markets; the role of foreign traders; famous stores in old Hoi An; folk knowledge on exploitation and processing of local products and incenses in nowadays; types of folk culture and art performance,…
