On April 9, 2024, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation had a talk with IDC Indochina Market Research Company - representing InfoComm Group in Vietnam to exchange information about AVIXA, event of InfoComm 2024 and some projects related to Hoi An and Center's tasks in the near future.

Ms. Angie Eng, Director of Marketing, Infocomm Asia, introduced about AVIXA, a global organization in the field of audio-visual technology and integrated experience. Every year AVIXA organizes Infocomm Events to introduce advanced technology and trends in the fields of education, transportation, tourism, culture, museum, healthcare, traffic control, flood management, urban monitoring, lighting systems and the development of smart cities.

In the talk, representative of Infocomm Asia also invited representatives of Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation to attend the InfoComm 2024 event in Bangkok, Thailand, taking place in July. Attending this event will be an opportunity to access many new tech solutions that can be applied in educational activities, museum experiences and support for the management and operation of smart city of Hoi An in the future.
