Approving the investment policy of the project to restore the Whale Temple, Cam Nam ward

On May 24, 2023, the People's Committee of Hoi An city approved the investment policy of the project to restore the Whale Temple, Cam Nam ward according to Decision No. 567/QD-UBND.

The project belongs to group C, invested by Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation. The project is implemented with additional target funding of Quang Nam province in 2023. Implementation period: 2023 - 2024.
Investment items: Re-roof with yin and yang tile; reinforce the wooden frame of the roof system; repair damaged wooden components; plaster walls, reinforce floors, repaint whole relic, restore decorative patterns in worship, etc.
The implementation of the project aims to preserve and promote values of the relic, upgrade the place for the cultural activities of local community and meet the needs of tourists.
